10 Quick + Healthy Ways To Boost Your Energy

Life is full on as we struggle to keep up with everything that gets thrown at us!

If we not doing ALL.THE.THINGS we're supposed to, like getting enough sleep and eating the right foods, trying to keep up becomes a daily struggle.

Last thing we need is to add to our guilt when it comes to the ways we boost our energy to get through the day.

We get it! The struggle is real for us too.

We've got your back with these 10 Quick + Healthy Ways To Boost Your Energy:

1. Breathe

And if possible, breathe in some fresh air! You really can't beat a few minutes of deep breathing outside . . . filling your lungs and body with fresh oxygen.

2. Move

Whether it's going for a walk, doing 10 star-jumps or putting your fav dance track on and getting your boogie on . . . MOVE your body and get your energy moving.


3. Eat

There are foods you can snack on that can give you a lil energy boost. Foods like nuts, a banana, avocado and eggs. Try out different foods and see what gives you that little boost of energy!

4. Drink a glass of water

Did your mum ever tell you to have a drink of water when you complained of being hungry? Mine did! And dab-nabbit she was right. Drinking a glass of water will rehydrate you when you're feeling drained.

5. Laugh

The cure of all cures LOL. There's nothing like a good belly laugh to get you feeling energised and ready to take on the next thing on your to-do list.

6. Phone A Friend

We've all got that one mate that naturally inspires or motivates us! Call that friend and have a chat.

7. Sing

Just like you would in the shower! Pull up your best karaoke song and sing your little heart out. Feel free to chuck in some dance moves too.

8. Peppermint

Take in a breathe of peppermint essential oil . . . or chew on some peppermint gum. The aroma always opens up the senses, clears the airways and gives the brain a little kick start.


9. Take a Nap

Some can do this successfully, not me, and after a timed 10 minute power nap, they're ready to take on the world again. The trick is to set your timer for no more than 15 minutes, otherwise you're likely to go into a deeper sleep which will get you waking up groggy. And that's the last thing we want LOL.
